Every Picnic Blanket piece is lovingly designed and handcrafted completely in-house and perfectly finished in our Lancashire jewellery studio.
All of our beaded jewellery features only the highest quality iridescent freshwater pearls.
Our Lampwork Process
Every individual glass feature charm takes up to half an hour to delicately form by hand in the flame, reaching temperatures of up to 800 degrees celsius, before heading to the kiln to soak for over 8 hours in the warmth to ensure strength and longevity.
The charms are then washed by hand to release them from the mandrel, cleaned, reamed and polished, before making their way to our beading table, ready to be made into something dreamy.
With the whole process taking several days to complete, each handcrafted piece is truly made to be treasured.
Please Note
As all Picnic Blanket glass jewellery is made to order, we kindly request that you allow 1-3 weeks for your charms to be created and the final jewellery piece to be finished.
Due to the handmade nature of this piece, no two items are identical and therefore slight variations in the beads shown may occur.
